IMPORTANT NEW ANNOUNCEMENT!
Please disregard the previous post. After further discussion with
members and the Region 4 Board, the Championship Series schedule will
only be modified by switching the Central Ohio and Ohio River City Regional
dates. So Labor Day weekend, September 4-5, will see racing at Ohio River
City in Napoleon, OH, and September 25-26 will see the inaugural Regional
event at the Central Ohio oval in London, OH. The points championship will continue
to be decided by the entire five race series.
The Ohio River City Regional flyer is
posted here. NOTE:
there will be no sign ins Friday evening. Sign ins will be open Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Regional weekend at Lansing brought 90 cars over two days to sunny weather
Saturday and threatening rain Sunday, but great track conditions both days as the event saw 7 track records reset:

The 2010 Region 4 States Race attracted 105 cars over the
Memorial Day weekend to MMRA Speedway in Waterford. Six track records were broken in
Saturday's qualifying, including Treyten Lapcevich taking both Jr. Honda and Jr. Stock, Cason
Konzer grabbing Sr. Honda, Noah Gallandt lowering his own Hvy. Honda record, Adam Rowe nabbing Lt. Mod,
and Frankie Nervo setting the mark in Lt. World Formula.

Jared Marks took the checkered to win his first Robbie Stanley Memorial
Heavy AA Race at Mini-Indy. After falling to the back of the field early, Jared, piloting his
Stanley chassis, worked his way back up to second on a late restart, and then pressured eventual
third-place finisher Austin Prock before taking the lead and pulling away in the final laps.
